Privacy and personal data
minaaraf has no user accounts, no advertising, no visitor statistics tool and no tracking cookies. This page explains which information is processed when you use the site, where and why, as required by Article 10 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

What information is processed
Server logs
Every time you open a page, your browser automatically sends some information: your IP address, the date and time, the address of the page, and information about your browser and operating system. This information is recorded automatically by the site's hosting provider (Hostinger) and by its content delivery and security service (Cloudflare).
The logs serve to keep the site running, find errors and block attacks. They are not used to identify visitors, to build profiles or for advertising. How long they are kept is decided by these services under their own policies.
If you send an email, your email address and your message are used only to reply to you and are not shared with anyone. Once you have received a reply, you can ask for the correspondence to be deleted.
Test progress
Your answers and results in the tests are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). They are not sent to the server, and we cannot see them. This lets you pick up an unfinished test where you left off and see your result next to the tests you have taken. You can remove this information by deleting your browser's data for this site.

All of these cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work and to stay secure, so no consent banner is shown. There are no advertising, marketing or analytics cookies.
Legal basis
The processing of server logs, Cloudflare cookies and email correspondence is based on legitimate interests: keeping the site secure and running, and being able to answer you. Under Turkish law this is Article 5(2)(f) of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698; for visitors in the European Union and the European Economic Area it is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No processing is based on your explicit consent.
Who receives the data
Server logs are processed only by the two service providers named above, in order to keep the site online and protected. Their servers may be located outside Türkiye. Your information is not sold and is not shared with advertising companies. It may be passed on to competent public authorities where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the right to:
- find out whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been transferred
- request that incomplete or incorrect data be corrected, request that data be erased or destroyed under the conditions set out in Article 7 of Law No. 6698, and request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
- object to an outcome that is unfavourable to you and results solely from the analysis of the data by automated systems
- claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing
If you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you also have the rights set out in Articles 15 to 21 GDPR where they apply (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work (Article 77 GDPR).

Children
Part of the site is also written for lower secondary (middle school) students in Türkiye. No name, email address or other information is needed to use the site, and the tests can be taken without leaving any information.
