About minaaraf

minaaraf is a free site for learning German that Fatih Ün, a German teacher in Türkiye, has been developing since 2018.

The site offers German grammar topics, everyday dialogues and word lists. It started in Turkish and now also explains German to English speakers. The English pages are not word-for-word translations of the Turkish ones: the explanations, the translations of the example sentences and the "Common mistake" boxes are written for English speakers.

If you spot a mistake or something missing, you can report it via the contact page.
